This Merry Day of Culture / Young experts UGM introduce themselves

Join Young Experts UGM, as they guide you through the exhibition Bojan Golija - a retrospective.They have spent the past two months intensively getting to know the artist's work. Among other things, they have met the curator of the exhibition and modern artists in the field of graphics, visited institutions of graphic arts (International Centre of Graphic Arts, graphic studio at the Faculty of Education, Toni Soprano's studio) and developed the understanding of graphics through their own creative processes and artistic expression, creating artwork themselves. They got acquainted with techniques such as stencyl print, collagues, screen printing, dry needle technique and many others.
The program Young Experts UGM is intended for youth from 10-14 years of age. It is meant for young ones, especially interested in fine art, wishing to explore and upgrade their interest. The program offers many special features, forming a completely unique artistic experience. The participants are able to directly connect with quality examples of artwork, get up close and personal with professional staff in Maribor Art Gallery and artists in their work environment, see demonstrations of art techniques and try them out themselves, as well as are able to get to know the great international exhibition in Ljubljana, Birth as Criterion.
The program will be repeated along every major exhibition in Maribor Art Gallery on Strossmayerjeva 6.
