Visitors with disabilities
Our programme for visitors with special needs is connecting the gallery and art to all visitors and is designed in co-operation with experts on people with special needs. If required the gallery can visit you too! We can arrange visits to the groups unable to travel to the gallery – we will bring artgames and creativity closer to you. In recent years we have successfully worked with members of VDC Polž from Šentilj, children and youth from Dom Antona Skale in Maribor and Maribor Pediatrics Clinic Hospital School. Participants of our programmes have displayed their works in the annual exhibition at the UGM Miprijagalerija/Thegallerysuitsme. Our group programme is free of charge and is carried out from Tuesday to Saturday between 9:00 and 18:00. Each group is supervised by the gallery educator and group leader.

Guided tours for groups
After visitors exsamine to exihibition to are introduced to art works through didactic games and tasks whitch guide their active participation and understanding. This tour emphasizes relaxed comversation, games and adaptation to specific needs of the group or individuals.

Guided tours & workshops for groups
In co-operation with experts on people with special needs, guided tours of exhibitions and workshops which are designed according to the needs of each individual group can be arranged throughout the year. Visitors with special needs can explore the world of art and are creative as well as actively included in the social environment.

Gallery on visit
The programme is aimed at all groups with special needs that are unable to visit the gallery. Our art educators and curators can visit you wherever you are – at the hospital, in your institution, on a school camp etc. By playing didactic games and creating, children will spend an exciting day learning about and experiencing art.
