Natalija Juhart Brglez, who enters the art space with an innovative view of perspective shifting, redefines familiar images of cities into a new spatial reality in her graphic series. First Venice and Paris, then Ljubljana and now Maribor! With carefully considered and multidimensionally "used" visual elements such as the circle, hatching, and above all line and colour, he opens himself up to a personal experience in a skilful evasion of the objectively conventional. Why is the definition of space so important today, to whom does it belong, is it public, private, feminine? The artist clearly establishes herself as builder and creator, but she also always skilfully positions the point of view and the viewer as part of a whole. Natalija Juhart Brglez adds, "I want to achieve a sense of reassurance in the fact that we are different and that we experience things in many different ways.«

Between the city's attractions and personal mapping, the Unpredictable Cities project allows the individual to unlock a corner of Maribor and make it their home. There is a series of 6 different screen-printed motifs that can be assembled in any way.

Natalija Juhart Brglez (1992, Ptuj) completed her Master's degree in Art Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education of the University of Maribor under Prof. Sandi Červek in 2018 and her Master's degree in Printmaking under Prof. Sandi Červek in 2019.
