The Home x 20.000 project addresses the problem of affordable housing in Slovenia. The political promise to provide 20.000 apartments has resulted in a parallel initiative that will allow an individual to affordably purchase their own “property” experience. The commitment to create 20.000 housing artifacts over the next 5 years begins with the first batch – V.1.
In the V.1 series, the first 1.000 printed apartments were created, offering a miniature version of a home. The motifs derive from stylized elements of architectural plans.
There are 10 different motifs, each in the limited edition of 100 prints in quality giclée print on archival paper in 20 x 25 cm format.
