You are warmly invited to a calm and relaxing guided tour of the exhibition The Cabinet by the young artist Gala Alica. The exhibition The Cabinet, presented at UGM Kabinet, focuses on exploring the history of the building and its multilayered past – from religious to secular, from intimate and private to working and public. Through conversation and attentive observation, we will reflect on the past of a space that has undergone many transformations over the centuries and carries within it traces of different lives, stories, and times.

We will devote special attention to the personal memories that such spaces can awaken – memories of Maribor in the past, its streets, its people, and everyday life. How does our relationship to space change over the years? How does the history of a building resonate with our own experience. Everyone interested in the history of the city and in listening to the stories that spaces tell is warmly invited to join us.

The tour is designed as a relaxed social gathering, allowing time for conversation, the sharing of impressions, and personal experiences. Everyone who enjoys observing art and seeking meaning, emotions, and memories within it is warmly invited. No prior knowledge of art or art history is required to participate. The program is based on relaxed socializing and openness to new experiences.
