We continue to get to know the Šantel artistic family. We will meet you at the UGM, where over a coffee we will introduce you to the life and work of Saša Šantel. Then we will walk to the University Library of Maribor and see the exhibition of Saša Šantel's ex libris, book illustrations and festive cards.
Painter, graphic artist and composer Saša Šantel worked with various graphic techniques at the beginning of the 20th century. This exhibition, drawn from material in his estate, brings together his entire oeuvre of ex libris in various forms, showing printed examples, drafts and clichés, plus books from the artist's and other private libraries in which Šantel's ex libris are pasted.
