Wisdom Hours / Summer meetings with art for older adults

During the summer heat, when the sun relentlessly warms the city streets, we invite older adults to the pleasantly cool embrace of the Maribor Art Gallery. We will host short, relaxed gatherings where we’ll take a closer look at selected artworks from the UGM Collection. Over refreshing lemonade and cookies, we will introduce the artist behind the artwork featured on the UGM postcard, which we will also view in person. Each visitor will receive their own postcard to keep as a memento or to send to someone they wish to delight with a touch of art. During one of the sessions, we will also take a walk to the audio-visual installation at the Judgement Tower. Let this be your summer retreat among artworks – a place of connection, conversation, and inspiration.
