We will present the life and work of Slovenian architect Ivan Vurnik, who also left an important mark on Maribor. We will delve into Vurnik's colony, a workers' housing estate built in 1928 in the Tabor district. During a pleasant get-together, where we will also serve coffee and cookies during the lecture, we will highlight the historical and architectural significance of this important example of social housing construction in Slovenia.

The exhibition on Vurnik's colony will be on display between 4 October and 30 November 2025, in the Maribor City Park.

No prior knowledge of art or art history is required to participate. The program is based on relaxed socializing and openness to new experiences.
