The Mean Ant invites inquisitive toddlers on a clay adventure! We will squeeze, roll, tear, and stick soft clay. Once we tame it, we will create a clay strip into which we will press various objects and mysterious materials. A real mini relief will emerge before our eyes! Afterwards, we will set off together to explore the exhibition Spekter, where we will search for examples of relief among the artworks—and on them spot birds, little horses, and perhaps a few surprises.

About the programme Toddlers in the gallery: 
Our educator and the curious Angry Ant will warmly welcome toddlers (age 1–3) and their parents (or other adult companions). Together, we’ll explore the world of visual art – in a playful and collaborative way! We’ll experiment with various art materials and techniques: discovering how they work, what kinds of traces they leave, how they feel to the touch, whether they have a smell or make a sound, and how they inspire us to move. The focus is on the creative process, sensory exploration, and, above all, feeling good and enjoying art.

The programme is free of charge, with an entrance fee of €4 for adults who stay at the workshop with their children.
