Sculpting workshop for youth and adults / An imprint of material (12+)
Maribor Art Gallery, Strossmayerjeva 6
Wednesday, 16. – Friday, 18. august 2017, 17.00 – 20.00
guided by: academic sculptress Aleksandra Saška Gruden

In this particular sculpting workshop we will explore a technique of clay processing. Through the process of getting to know different qualities of materials, we will examine potentials of different textures and discover ways of their transfer through techniques into individual final handmade art pieces made out of clay and plaster.

Aleksandra Saška Gruden is an academic sculptress, actively co-creating local artistic space. She taught sculpting on the school of applied arts Famul Stuart in Ljubljana. During that period she led many workshops for youth and for adults around Slovenia. In her work, she uses different materials: from classic sculpting materials such as clay, stone and wood to modern artificial materials. She also uses a digital approach to sculpting.

Price 30 EUR / Club UGM 21 EUR. Applications will be accepted until the 13. August 2017. KINDLY INVITED!
