Saturday family workshop / Grandparents tell stories, children draw

As part of the Children's Week programme, we invite children, grandmothers and grandfathers to join us for a bite of art; as the Serious Ant tells us, paintings, drawings and sculptures are most delicious in person. They will give you a taste of the traces of time: from the days when horse-drawn carriages were driven through the city, when huge cranes were used to build new blocks of flats, schools and kindergartens, right up to the present day, when, sadly, there are far too many cars in the squares and streets, but there are also smiles, dreams and memories. Under the guidance of poet Borut Gombač, grandmothers and grandfathers will write down their memories and children will draw them.
The workshop is part of the nationwide campaign "Bless the time, brighten the day".
