Musil's picture books. She simply no longer draws the images, but has started to sew, glue and crochet them. There are large formats of the colourful Stichings on display, as well as the books, which by now have been published in 14 different languages.

The selection of works from the UGM Collection focuses on the street, more precisely on the streets of Maribor, as artists living in Maribor have captured them in various media over the past century. These works lead through the history of Maribor and at the same time through different visual approaches to depicting streets and the city.

No Looking Back, Okay?
guided tour

UGM, Strossmayerjeva 6
16:00
guided by Simona Vidmar, exhibition curator
The exhibition, presenting the works of twenty both established and emerging artists from Slovenia, Europe and the world, stems from the belief that we do not perceive the past as a concluded story, be it in the form of either a colourful history, lived memories, cultural heritage, or political symbols, but as a field of possible new experiences, which requires from us a contribution of creative and critical responsibility.

KINDLY INVITED!
