The monograph by Ksenija Čerče presents the creative process and conceptual train of thought through images and words. It highlights elements such as hybridity, translucency, toxicity, iridescence, and blinding, which relate to various forms of emancipation and their manifestations, functioning as an infectious territory. The book project was shaped in key collaboration with photographer Damjan Švarc, designer Rafaela Držić, and editor Primož Premzl. The monograph was published by the University of Ljubljana Press. The catalogue will be presented in a conversation with the artist, moderated by Dr. Nataša Smolič.

The monograph was partially co-funded through the Institutional Funding Scheme of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana.

Dr. Nataša Smolič is an art historian and art critic. She focuses on theoretical and critical writing in the field of modern and contemporary visual art. She is a professor of art history at the Faculty of Education in Maribor.

Ksenija Čerče is a contemporary artist known for her work in painting as well as sound and video art. In her works, she creates integral environments that engage the viewer through expanded perception and an immersive experience. She is a full professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana.
