New season of Creative Saturdays (5+)

In the new school year 2023-24, children (5+) are also invited to Creative Saturdays at the Maribor Art Gallery. Through regular meetings, children enrich their knowledge and experience of the visual arts and develop their artistic skills and individual artistic expression. At two workshops a month, children learn about modern and contemporary visual arts. The added value of learning about art in the museum is that they get to know it live, face to face through paintings, sculptures and installations. We talk about the artworks, share views and ideas, and delve deeper into the artistic content through play. Children deepen their understanding and experience of art through hands-on art making - drawing, painting and sculpting. They will learn about a variety of art materials and tools, experimenting with different techniques in a way that best expresses their ideas and experiences.
