YOUNG FRIENDS UGM (+4)

Young Friends UGM (+4) are regulary and active present at special exhibition programme of UGM on 20 different Saturday workshops during the season. On a playful way they are researching the samples of modern and contemporary art. Hence, they are developing the competence for a dialogue and expression about art, accepting different points of view. Also they are developing the ability for painting, modelling, photographing, and making their own video. Workshops are held by: Brigita Strnad, UGM curator, Enea Bronja Gajšek, UGM educator and artists.
Children of the age between 4 and 11 who wish to attend children workshops regularly and explore the world of art are invited to become Young friends of UGM. The Young friends of UGM membership brings many benefits:
- Saturday children workshops only for 1 €,
- free entry to the gallery (including accompanying adult/s) throughout the year and
- 30% discount for UGM publications/merchandising and selected programme.
Saturday creative sessions take place twice a month from September to June and are suitable for different age groups. They are led by the curators, art students and artists. Young visitors between the age of 4 and 11 can spend two Saturdays a month exploring art, playing games and being creative. Saturday creative sessions (about 20 a year) offer an exciting exploration of visual arts and encourage children's creativity. The workshops are led by the curators, art students and artists and are suitable for different age groups.

first child in the family: 8 €
second child in the family: 4 €
third child: free of charge!
