A project by the Maribor Art Gallery, which captivated many in 2022, continues its journey. In 2025, the artistic space will be “measured” at a new destination – the European Capital of Culture in Nova Gorica and Gorizia, the exhibition is part of the GO! 2025 programme.

This time, artists from the Gorizia and Nova Gorica region will explore space in its broadest sense – from the geometric to the symbolic and the tangible. You are cordially invited to the opening of the exhibition Made in Maribor, Novi Sad, Nova Gorica / Gorizia, which will take place on Friday, 24 October, at 18:00 at the Gong Gallery. 

The exhibition will be opened by Lucija Sila, EPK GO! 2025, Assistant to the CEO for Cross-border Cooperation.

The author of the Made in ... project, Breda Kolar Sluga of the Maribor Art Gallery, has invited Nataša Kovšca, founder and director of Gallery GONG, and Alessandro Quinzi, curator at the Gorizia Provincial Museums, to collaborate. Together, they have selected eight women and eight men artists from different generations and artistic approaches.

The cubes created in Maribor, Novi Sad, and most recently in Nova Gorica and Gorizia will be presented together at Gallery GONG.
