lecture by: dr. Vesna Vuk Godina, social and cultural anthropologist, professor at the Faculty of Arts in Maribor and publicist
The lecture will link the topic of cult books, the main focus of the 18th Slovene Book Days festival in Maribor with the exhibition Heroes We Love, which is on display at Maribor Art Gallery. Social and cultural anthropologist dr. Vesna V. Godina will illuminate cult books of the socialist era of former Yugoslavia that is represented at the exhibition by examples of heroic, monumental art.
The lecture will take place in cooperation with MKC Maribor and Maribor Art Gallery.
The lecture will be in Slovenian.
