This guided tour will delve into portraits and self-portraits. How do we recognise the person portrayed? What is it about the portraits that makes us sense the character or mood of the sitter? What does the gesture or the gaze convey? We will continue our visit to the exhibition with an art activity, in which the children will use the language of colours, shapes, materials and compositions to explore and try to answer the question: who am I?
