Guided tour of the exhibition Contemporary Slovenian Illustration with Arjan Pregl

Exhibition of the 14th Slovenian Biennial of Illustration offers an overview of excellence, diversity and creative charge of contemporary Slovenian illustration. The exhibition presents more than 80 authors with original illustrations from recent years. In addition, visitors can browse through more than 50 books illustrated with originals from the exhibition.

Painter, illustrator, writer and tweeter Arjan Pregl will guide us through the exhibition and offer his views on the importance of quality illustration (for adults and children), the significance of the Biennial of Illustration and highlight the poetics of some of the authors and artists in the exhibition.

The event is part of the Slovenian Book Days in Maribor, organised by the Mladinski kulturni center Maribor and taking place from 13 to 18 June 2022.
