On Thursday, December 4, we invite all friends of the Maribor Art Gallery to join us at the Wine Cellar of Najstarejša trta for a gathering before the end of the year. We look forward to the company of artists, creators, visitors, colleagues, supporters, outside observers, art lovers, and everyone reached and inspired by our programs. Come and celebrate with us!

The festive evening begins at 18:00, with a conversation with the artists of Najstarejša trta. These are the authors who created new artworks for the interior of the wine cellar, renovated last year: Petja Kocet, Lucija Rosc, and David Tavčar. Together with them, we will also explore the stories of Maribor based photographer Franjo Pivka from the first half of the 20th century, archival materials from the Primož Premzl Collection and the Regional Archives Maribor, as well as works on paper from the Maribor Art Gallery, all of which complete the visual character of Najstarejša Trta.

After the talk, there will be chit-chating, glass clinking, and cha-cha-chaing late into the night! You are warmly welcome.

Admission is free. The gathering is organized in collaboration with Najstarejša trta and Visit Maribor.
