On the occasion of the International Day of Families, which is celebrated every year on 15 May, the Maribor Art Gallery has expanded its activities into a Family Week. From 13 to 18 May, we are offering families free admission and a programme dedicated to families.
The Art Museum is a place to learn about art and to socialise creatively. The Spectrum exhibition features small and large drawings, paintings and photographs, some very colourful, others dark and even scary. There are a range of motifs that children will find particularly interesting - for example, animal motifs such as horses and wild cats, and even a dinosaur. You can share with each other your views, ideas and associations that the artwork triggers in you. You can also repaint your favourite piece of art and take it home as a souvenir. You are welcome to take a walk among the artworks and be as curious as you can!

- Kangaroos in the Gallery / Learning about art and socialising for families with babies (up to 12 months)

From 13 to 18 May, admission to the UGM is free for families. With the Family Week programme, we are taking part in the For Families for Free campaign, which is organised by the Slovenian Association of Friends of Youth (SAFY).
