We kindly invite you to the summer excursion to the Venice Biennale organized by the UGM. You have the opportunity to visit exhibition The Encyclopedic Palace, curated by Massimiliano Gioni.Ž
price: 70 € / 49 € (members of the UGM Club)
price includes: admission, bus transport, tour organization, parking fee and accident insurance
additional payment: vaporetto ticket 7 € (60 min) / 18 € (12 hours)
booking: at UGM Ticket Office (Tuesday –Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00) until 14 June 2013 or until vacancies are available

PROGRAMME: individual visit to the 55th Venice Biennale and exhibition The Encyclopedic Palace at Giardini and Arsenale. Slovenia is represented by Jasmina Cibic with the project For our Economy and Culture. Project combines Slovenian endemic species and national architecture and deals with the construction of national identity and mutual dialectic influence of ideological postulates and reality. Slovenian pavillion is at A+A gallery, San Marco 3073.
4:00 departure from Maribor (Josip Jurčič Monument)
9:30 arrival to Venice
10:30-14:00 entrance to Giardini and individual visit to the national pavillions
14:30-18:00 entrance to Arsenale and individual visit to the exhibited works
18:00 departure to the Piazza San Marco
until 21:00 free time for visiting other exhibitions
21:00 gathering at Tronchetto and departure from Venice
2:00 foreseen arrival to Maribor
UGM reserves the right to change this programme at any time. You can cancel your reservation at latest on 14 June 2013 otherwise we will not return your fee, accept in the case of a proven force majeure.
