Cycling tour of the National Liberation Struggle monuments

In 2025, we will celebrate 80 years of freedom. Numerous monuments in Maribor remind us of the time of the National Liberation Struggle. Each one tells its own story. We will cycle around the circular route on which they are located and hear their stories. We will stop at the monuments: Volkmer's Passage, the NOB (National Liberation) monument (Kojak), the monument to the hostages, the memorial plaque to Slava Klavora, and we will ride to Melje to the Park of Memories and conclude the tour at the building of the former Stalag XVIII D. If you don't have your own bike, you can use the MBajk city bike network.
