Creating a self-portrait/self-portrait used to be the privilege of fine artists. With the development and accessibility of photography, the self-portrait/selfie has become the most mass art motif. We will first confront the subject in the exhibition Invisible Hand. Then we will tackle it by photographing the self-portrait/selfie and describing the resulting images in depth: what we have captured and what we are communicating. In the second part of the workshop, we will recreate the photographed motif in a drawing using classical materials such as charcoal and pencil.
