Creative summer at UGM
creative workshops for children 5+
9 July–1 September 2024
Children are invited to spend Tuesday mornings during the summer holidays among the visual arts, first at the exhibition EKO 9: Eyes in the Stone, and then at the Spekter exhibition. We will talk about the artworks, share our views and make new friends. The green garden in front of the Old Sanatorium building will give us a shady refuge to draw, paint and sculpt, and to reflect on our environment. The exhibition of works Spekter. 70 Years of the UGM Collection will introduce us to Slovenia's artistic cultural heritage; paintings, sculptures and photographs will inspire us in our artistic creations. In cooperation with the Maribor Puppet Theatre, we will also invite you to a workshop at the 35th Summer Puppet Pier Festival and a puppet show on the platform in front of the UGM | Maribor Art Gallery.
