Creative Saturday / Start: Action!

Action! We are launching a new season of Creative Saturdays. We will learn about art, create art and socialise. In the first workshop, the youngest children (4–8 years old) will explore the building that has been home to the UGM, the Museum of Fine Arts, for 70 years, accompanied by the Angry Ant. Did you know that the exterior is decorated with cannonballs? That a sculpture by a Canadian artist sits on the lawn in front of the UGM? All this and more will be transformed into straight, thin, thick and hairy lines. Children aged 9–12 will be immediately drawn into the world of moving images, animation. We'll start with animation devices from the pre-digital age: the practiceinoscope and the kaleidoscope. Don't let the complicated words frighten you, it will be great fun.
