Creative Saturday / Clay Adventure and Painting Surfaces

The workshop is designed for children in two age groups and includes a guided tour of the exhibition as well as hands-on creative activities.

Group ages 4–7: Painting Surfaces Under the Microscope
Painters create their works on a wide variety of supports - from paper, wood, and canvas to glass surfaces. During the exhibition tour, we will explore how different supports influence the appearance of an artwork. In the workshop, children will also try painting on transparent materials themselves and investigate how light and color work together to shape the final impression.

Group ages 8–12: An Adventure with Clay
We will squeeze, roll, tear, and stick soft clay. Once we tame it, we will create a clay strip into which we will imprint various objects and mysterious materials. Before our eyes, a true mini relief will emerge! Afterwards, we will explore the Spekter exhibition together, searching for examples of relief among the artworks.
