Creative Saturday / Clay Adventure and Painting Surfaces

The workshop is designed for children in two age groups and includes a guided tour of the exhibition as well as hands-on creative activities.

Group 4–7: Clay Adventure
We will squeeze, roll, tear, and shape soft clay. Once tamed, we will create a clay strip in which we will imprint various objects and mysterious materials. Before our eyes, a mini relief will emerge! Afterwards, we will explore the Spekter exhibition together, looking for examples of reliefs in the artworks — and along the way spotting birds, horses, and other surprises.

Group 8–12: Painting Surfaces Under the Microscope
Artists create on various surfaces – from paper, wood, and canvas to glass. During the exhibition tour, we will explore how the expressive possibilities change depending on the chosen material and how different surfaces affect the appearance of the artwork. In the workshop, participants will also try painting on translucent materials and investigate how light and color contribute to the final impression.
