You are invited to a painting workshop, where you will get up close and personal with the techniques and processes of painters from the UGM Collection. Under the expert guidance of artist Vid Koprivšek, you will create your own copies of Kobilca's Oriental Man, Jeraj's dog, Metka Krašovec's Cypresses or any other painting that calls to you. You will be given a painting easel, a canvas of the desired size, brushes and other materials and will go with them to the exhibition centre to see the original works of art. You will explore how paintings are made, how the choice of materials determines them, and learn about different painting media and processes. You will have the opportunity to get to know paintings not only as static art objects, but as the results of extremely vivid and intertwined creative processes.

The workshop is appropriate for beginners and experienced painting enthusiasts.
