Vlasta Hegedušić: Open Curtain
Costume designer and scenographer Vlasta Hegedušić is a theatre artist with roots in painting. Her sense of humour and her rich knowledge are united to form aesthetic and poetic creations. Vlasta Hegedušić was born in Zagreb, where she graduated from Fine arts academy and became the first professional costume designer in Slovene national theatre of Maribor. At the time of the exhibition her rich opus included nearly 400 works. The catalogue contains a detailed overview of her costume designs and scenographic work, accompanied by coloured and black and white drawings and photographs, biography and selected bibliography.
