Dragiša Modrinjak, former collaborator of newspaper Večer and later on Delo, collaborator of Slovene national theatre Maribor and active and honorary member of Fotoklub Maribor, was an indispensable chronicler of political, sports, cultural and other social events in Slovenia and former Yugoslavia. Thematically, he was interested in documentary and sports photography, motives of ethnography and genre, comic photographs, portraits, photographs of theatrical scenes as well as in regions and vedutes. In the catalogue, Peter Rak noted: » Modrinjak's starting point in photography reflects, above all, the basic logos of photography, namely, its instantaneous record of events. His images are thus »documentary« and »everyday«, but nevertheless reflect the background and the specific view on a certain everyday event as well. The catalogue contains reproductions and overview of exhibitions and bibliography.
