Between Painting and Scenery is a monograph dedicated to the painter and scenographer Maks Kavčič (1909–1973). It presents Kavčič’s artistic journey and is also a review of his scenographic work. Both parts of the artist’s work are linked with intimate notes written by his daughter Metka Kavčič Takač, complemented with photographs and drawings.
