Jasmina Cibic, Davide Grassi/Janez Janša, Žiga Kariž, Kracina & Leben, Sašo Sedlaček, son:Da and Polona Tratnik are seven young and internationally etablished Slovene artists who exhibited in 2007 at the Austrian contemporary art exhibition space Künstlerhaus Graz. The catalogue demonstrates a dialogue between different comprehensions of the (artistic) worlds represented at the exhibition. Hybrid, iconographic, metamorphic spaces - developed in the process of ‘finding a personal reality’ and dealing with problematic situations - range from melancholic and isolated web interiors, fetishistic waiting rooms for global tourists and itineraries for space garbage to deformed evolutionist islands, virtual bio-political agora and microbiological transformations of intimate objects.
