Exhibition Drawing in Slovenia II. 1940−2009  presents 137 artists and their 310 works. It is based on selection of all the major artists and drawings in various techniques which emphasise drawing as a key platform for artistic depiction. The exhibition confirms the creative power of Slovenian artists; it reveals the continuity and causality of artistic development and establishes drawing as an independent (internationally very topical) chapter within the Slovenian visual art. It is accompanied by an extensive, chronological monographic publication with texts, reproductions of all works, selected biographic information and explanations of artistic creativity and actual works for each individual artist.

The following artists are presented: Stojan Batič, Nikolaj Beer, Mirsad Begič, Boris Benčič, Bojan Bensa, BERKO, Uršula Berlot, Emerik Bernard, Janez Bernik, Milan Bizovičar, Janez Boljka, Jaka Bonča, Lucijan Bratuš, Andrej Brumen Čop, Marko Butina, Mire Cetin, Dragica Čadež, Sandi Červek, Zvonko Čoh, Blaž De Gleria, Zoran Didek, Milan Erič, Črtomir Frelih, Alenka Gerlovič, Gustav Gnamuš, Klementina Golija, Milan Golob, Bojan Gorenec, Tomaž Gorjup, Samuel Grajfoner, Milena Gregorčič, Bogdan Grom, Marjan Gumilar, Herman Gvardjančič, Miroslav Hajnc, Peter  Hergold, Drago Hrvacki, Zdenko Huzjan, IRWIN, Bard Iucundus, Andrej Jemec, Zmago Jeraj, Boris Jesih, Duša Jesih, Marco Juratovec, Žiga Kariž, Dušan Kirbiš, Aleksij Kobal, Boris Kobe, Vlasto Kopač, Josip Korošec, Damijan Kracina, Metka Krašovec, Peter Krivec, Tomaž Kržišnik, Majda Kurnik, Vladimir Lakovič, Gani Llalloshi, Lojze Logar, Polona Maher, Vladimir Makuc, Živko Marušič, Ignac Meden, Franc Mesarič, Kiar Meško, France Mihelič, Marko Modic, Ivo Mršnik, Jožef Muhovič, Zoran Mušič, Franc Novinc, Nikolaj Omersa, Silvan Omerzu, Klavdij Palčič, Božidar Pengov, Tomaž Penko, France Peršin, Dušan Pirih Hup, Nikolaj Pirnat, Janez Pirnat, Štefan Planinc, Silvester Plotajs Sicoe, Marko Pogačnik, Jože Pohlen, Oton Polak, Zmago Posega, Mark Požlep, Ivo Prančič, Marij Pregelj, Arjan Pregl, Tobias Putrih, Mirko Rajnar, Milan Rijavec, Samo, Gorazd Satler, Jakob Savinšek, Ivan Seljak Čopič, Brane Sever, Rudi Skočir, Majda Skrinar, France Slana, Darko Slavec, Zora Stančič, Vlado Stjepić, Mladen Stropnik, Gabrijel Stupica, Branko Suhy, Iztok Šmajs, Tanja Špenko, Miha Štrukelj, Ive Šubic, Simona Šuc, Marko Šuštaršič, Alenka Šuštaršič Eržen, Nataša Tajnik, Slavko Tihec, Jože Tisnikar, Neja Tomšič, Andrej Trobentar, Drago Tršar, Dušan Tršar, Klavdij Tutta, France Uršič, Milena Usenik, Petra Varl, Jana Vizjak, Lujo Vodopivec, Sašo Vrabič, Marij Vrenko, Žare Vrezec, Huiqin Wang, Jure Zadnikar, Boris Zaplatil, Karel Zelenko, Mojca Zlokarnik, Klavdij Zornik, Apollonio Zvest and Živa Žitnik.
