Wisdom Hours are intended for older adults who want to gain new knowledge, experience and acquaintances. In the 2020-2021 season, we will introduce you to important works of art kept by our institution. Through the exhibition 100+ Highlights from the UGM Collection, you will meet works of art by Slovenian authors of the 20th and 21st centuries: Ivana Kobilca, Ivan Kos, Zoran Mušič, Slavko Tihec, Ludvik Pandur, Dragica Čadež, Darko Golija, Metka Kavčič, Petra Warl, tandem son: DA ... We will be able to get to know the exhibition through several meetings from different angles: motifs of Maribor, portraits, abstract art ... We will also prepare a meeting with the artist or. artist as a source of first-hand information.
At the first meeting, we will walk through a chronological overview of the highlights from the UGM Collection from the end of the 19th century to the present, from Ivana Kobilca to the son: DA duo. We will present the importance of the UGM Collection and its location in NE Slovenia.
