Within the framework of the exhibition Ivan Kos and his masterpiece - Girl with an Orange in the UGM Kabinet there will be a talk about the life and work of the painter Ivan Kos. With guests - of different generations and different relationships to the author - we will take a peek into his private life, his work in the studio, his classroom at the classical gymnasium, his private archive and reveal the "secret" of his masterpiece The Girl with an Orange.
Table guests: Ida Brišnik Remec, artist and student of Kosovo, Vlasta Degen-Kos, daughter-in-law of the late artist and custodian of the artist's legacy, Meta Gabršek Prosenc, former UGM director and author of Kosovo Retrospective, Sara Hajdinac, student of art history who has studied the author's private archive and Janez Lombergar, a TV Slovenia journalist and author of the only documentary on Ivan Kos. Sonja Kokol, the half sister of the Girl with an Orange, will join us in the audience.
