As part of the parallel programme to Inge Morath – Retrospective Exhibition we are announcing a conversation with two master photographers who have put their mark down not only in their native Ptuj, but in wider photographic landscape as well. Stojan Kerbler and Branko Lenart stand tall among the greatest names of Slovenian photography in last decades. In their work span a lot of attention was given to the people and places on both sides of the Austro-Slovenian border. Therefore it is no coincidence that they both were part of Magnum photographer Inge Morath's last project, »Border.Spaces« series, when she returned home to Styria at the end of an exceptional career.
Dejan Sluga, head and programme manager at Photon Gallery, will talk to the two artists about their cooperation with Morath, similarities and differences in their views on photography and their plans for the future.
