What does it take to make a garden grow? What do snails, bees and garden gnomes do in the garden? How do you pull out a beet which, with careful watering, has grown into a giant? The well-known Russian fairy tale about the grandfather who planted beets in his garden, and they grew and grew and grew. And when he wanted to pull it out, he couldn't. He had to call for help - his wife, then a puppy, a kitten, a donkey ...
After the performance, which will last 30 minutes, children and parents are invited to visit the exhibition Pride and Prejudice in National Costume. Our Fierce Ant will be among the artworks on display and you will be able to ask her questions.
The event is free of charge and is organised in cooperation with the Maribor Puppet Theatre.
