Projection and talk / The sparks of slovene fashion

Video The sparks of slovene fashion has been represented for the projection, rearranged part of the Jasna Hribernik's installation, which has been introduced as a part of the exhibition Fashion in Motion (curator Nina Zdravič Polič) at  Slovene Ethnographic Museum in Ljubljana (June-November 2015). It goes for the fragments of time, which have been through archive images speaking about dinamics of slovene fashion and its fashion characterictics from late 50's; about fashion factories, fashion shows, street fashion, about looks of Slovene women in media (singers, presenters), about fashion models. Those images are accompanied by the text Marcel Štefančič, jr. Krik trga, which has been written for a video installation and movie sparks critically puts into social context. 

Jasna Hribernik is a movie director. She has studied movie and TV direction at AGRFT in Ljubljana. She has also studied for two years on Discovery Campus Master School v Münchnu. She works as an independent movie director and creator of video movies, video installations and other multimedia  works. She has been recognized several times as camerawoman and  'compositing artist'. From the year 1985 she has been created  many documentaries which have been internationally represented and also rewarded: Ko nam je žoga padla na glavo; Koncert za mobilne telefone in orkester; Zadnji čoln; Svet ni vedel, da je pristal v pesmi; Franja; Vitanje v vesolju: Sunita). She cooperates with artists from the other art area in collective projects or as a creator of video scenes. In 2011/12 she has directed movie  Vandima,  which goes currently through the montage process.
