For 2012 Maribor Library staff have planned a more extensive project of 12 literary discussions with Slovene writers and poets, who are all in various ways linked to the city or the partner towns of ECoC Maribor 2012. UGM joins to the  locations and contributes to the opening up of the literary space. One of the most prominent Maribor and Slovenian contemporary poetess Danica Križanič Müller will be presented by Zora A. Jurič, teacher of Slovenian language and initiator of Poetic tournament. Violoncellist Nikolaj Sajko will perform with a musical programme.

Poetess Danica Križanič Müller was born in Maribor, where she attended primary and high school. After study of Slovenian and English language in Ljubljana she became high school teacher of Slovenian language. As a mentor she has encouraged students to write literature and she has published their works in yearly literary publications. She is a member of Association of Slovenian writers and member of Poetic tournament. She has published poems in magazines Dialogi, Nova revija and Literatura and several collections of poems. In 2009 she was nominated for Jenko's award for the best collection of poems in current year. In 2010 she received Glazer's award. She is placed in Anthology of Slovenian poetess III.
