Kindly invited to participate in the lecture along the acompanying program of the first retrospective exhibition of the Maribor father of graphic art, Bojan Golija. His long term coworker and an exquisit expert on his work, dr. Marjeta Ciglenečki, will reveal the japanese influences in his vast repertoire.

In 1956, soon after finishing his studies at the Ljubljana Academy of fine art, Bojan Golija received an invitation from prof. Sabura Kurata, the current president od the International Society Through Education Art at UNESCO, to visit Japan. Through the next year, the young artist spent six months there. He visited primary schools and got acquainted with the japanese practice of art education, and japanese colour woodcut.
