Kindly invited to join Gaja Golija, exhibition curator, as she takes you on a final tour of the retrospective exhibition of Bojan Golija's artwork. The exhibition features over 150 original prints and drawings from the collection of the Maribor Art Gallery and from the artist's estate, many of which are presented to the public for the first time.
Bojan Golija (1932-2014) was a devoted graphic artist and art educator. With an inexhaustible creative zeal and incredible diligence, he explored and experimented with the expressive possibilities of printmaking techniques, and as "the father of Maribor graphic arts", like he had been called, continued to pass his knowledge with great enthusiasm onto younger generations.
