Excursion to Linz – European capital of culture 2009

UGM organised a long expected excursion to Linz − European Capital of Culture 2009. A sightseeing tour of the old town was followed by a walk across the roofs of Linz or rather a visit to the exhibition OK | Höhenrausch (Art on the rooftops of Linz), where art installations intertwine with views of the city. The highlight of the excursion was the visit to the new museum of modern art Lentos and the exhibition See This Sound, which establishes relations between images, sound, art and perception. Upon arrival at Linz the group was greeted by Mr. Martin Heller, director of ECC Linz 2009.
