Creative Tuesday / Dots, lines and shapes

Every summer Tuesday, we invite children to get to know UGM as a place of creativity, socializing, playing and gaining new experiences and knowledge. We are preparing a series of quality educational programs that will be carried out in an inspiring environment of works of art at the Maribor Art Gallery. We will also invite you to the City Park.
In Tuesday’s first creative this summer, we’ll turn into dots. Then we will start moving: straight, left, right, winding, zigzag … What trace will we leave behind? What the follows traces or. lines tell us? How do we experience them? Through play and art tasks, children will get acquainted with line and drawing as the most basic way of artistic expression. Than we will look for dots, lines and shapes in our environment and transfer them to our drawings.
When implementing the creative Tuesday, we will considered the NIJZ's measures for infection control. Above all, we will plan the activities in the outdoor area in front of UGM. in the case of rain, the creative Tuesday will be held in large indoor space, enough to ensure that a suitable distance is maintained between all participants. The workshops will take place for a maximum of 15 participants.
