In the upcoming season of Creative Saturdays 2020 - 2021, we will explore the art of the 20th and 21st centuries through an exhibition of 100+ Highlights from the UGM Collection. The UGM Collection, as an important part of Slovenia's artistic and cultural heritage, will be discovered through its location in Maribor and NE Slovenia, as well as its media and content diversity.
The UGM collection houses works by Slovenian artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Many also lived in Maribor for at least some time. At the exhibition 100+ Highlights from the UGM Collection, we will see works of art that represent the very motifs of our city and the people of Maribor. At the art workshops, children will present their views of the city, its streets and residents.
