With closing events of the exhibition Lords of Dirt UGM joins the Opening Weekend of the European Capital of Culture Maribor 2012. The programme will open with auction of selected artworks at the exhibition, later Slovenian part of the Lords of Dirt art team and their guests will conduct several performances to bring the life cycle of exhibited installations to an end. Lords of Dirt Exhibition represents the works of nine artists of younger generation from Slovenia, Italy, Finland, France and USA.
21.00-22.00 Lords of Dirt Art Auction
On auction will be 27 artworks from the installation Middle Room that mark the interlacement of art visions of artists and collective creative approach. Auctioneer: Dejan Pestotnik, organization: UGM and Primož Nemec, owner of the gallery Ganes Pratt, Ljubljana.
22.00-2.00 Performances and concerts by Lords of Dirt & Friends
Artists: Meta Grgurevič and Urša Vidic; Mark Požlep; Jaša; Janez Vidrih, Luka Uršič and Aljaž Košir-Fejzo; Nina Vidrih, Maja Zupan and Saša Šuštar. Performers of sonic interventions and concerts: Kalu; Leftfinger; Your Gay Thoughts; Bloom's Sound Piece.
